We'd love to take our children 5 & 9 to Disneyland Paris before they're too old/not interested. We are moving house this year so no big holidays planned but I'd like to maybe plan it for next year.

Anyone who's been could you give me a rough idea of what it cost you please? I think we'd be looking to do a long weekend/4 day kind of trip. Are there companies you can recommend to book through or better to just do it all independently?

Def price up yourself. Flights with easyJet/transfer then hotel. Also. E savvy about when to go and look out for flash sales. If you need to go at half term try and do one that isn't a European one. We went one year on Boxing Day. Worked really well and was quieter than you'd think.

We went in August 2015 and May/June 2016. Tickets just under £400 for annual passes 2 adult 2 child so we could access the extra hours in the mornings. First visit we did 4 nights in a caravan with Canvas for £200 4 nights and second time the Adagio apartments self catering for 4 nights £300. Flights from Exeter were £500. First visit we drove via Dover-Calais (never again). Ferry was about £100 return booked with the caravan.

We prefer the space and freedom of self catering and the Disney hotels in school holidays were too expensive for us.

May half term was wonderfully quiet although the weather was awful. Very short waits for most of the rides.
