Which of the English school holidays would be best for Disneyland Paris?

Tied to Engish school holidays only as dh is a TA (and dd is Reception so technically couldnt take her either).

Which one is best for prices? We dont have masses of spare cash. Weather wise is it freezing during the Feb half term?

We live in Newcastle and I cant decide if train/eurostar would be easier than flight and coach out.

We just went for ds birthday in march. I'm also in Newcastle and we got train down to London then Eurostar...... I would deffo fly next time! It was a LONG day!

We had a free full board plus meal plan included in our hotel and we had too much food. Also, there was times ds just wanted a McDonald's which wasn't included, so I spent on meals anyway. You MUST book as far in advance as you can (30 days I think?) even if not on meal plan as restaurants get booked up. I didn't book restaurant on our first night and concierge couldn't get us a table anywhere on resort till 1030 at night.

I would say stay On site and make use of magic hours to reduce queueing, then go back to hotel for a break and go back out again later when it's a bit quieter.

There's a fab Facebook group call Disneyland Paris for brits. Really recommend it.

We are going in May and got a free meal plan with our deal.
We went at Easter last year - rained and was freezing. I'll stick to May now

This comment may not be much help, but there was once a thread on mn where someone recommended staying outside the park, but it was somehow closer/ easier to get to than some of the actual park accommodation. There was also a supermarket nearby, which made catering much cheaper. Perhaps someone will be along who knows what I'm talking about!!!

I am a planner and a spreadsheet fanantic so prebooking will actually work for me too. Like the idea of a break in the day and then back for the evening.

We went in May half term and it wasn't too busy. It did fall between the spring and summer seasons so less parades and shows. Didn't bother us as we managed to get to the 'soft' (unadvertised) frozen show thanks to advice on the trip advisor forum.

May half-term is the quietest time to go if tied to school holidays as France (and surrounding countries) don't have school holidays then, whereas all other holidays coincide. It's also great weather-wise.

We went on a "Stay 2+ nights, get 2 nights free" deal a couple of years ago. We also booked the Eurostar from St Pancras, changing at Lille, which was much cheaper than the Eurostar direct to DLP.

I have been in August twice and May half-term. May was surprisingly much busier.
