When will it be hot in Majorca?

I want to book a holiday there before the school summer holidays (because the prices get ridiculous!), but I've been told it won't be hot enough to sunbathe until August! Has anyone been in June / early July?

Nancy, who told you it wouldn't be warm enough in August?

We wouldn't go in August because it would be too hot! We've been at the end of May/beginning of June and the weather is great then - hot but not unbearable - we certainly swam and sunbathed!

A couple of my colleagues said it would rain, bring a cardi etc. I can see now that they were probably just really unlucky when they went!
