Brittany ferries

I've just looked up ferries from Portsmouth to St Malo for a summer holiday. They seem much more expensive than I thought they would be - does anyone have any discount codes or know if Brittany offer codes?
Thanks

Fireball I travel most summer holidays with BF, but on the St Malo route. We usually get a cabin, even for the daytime crossing (the cabins are cheap then). Sometimes I have gone to sit in the unreserved lounge if DH is lying down and have always found seats no problem. I don't remember if there was a TV. If there was, it definitely wasn't intrusive. Not sure about the reserved seating lounge.

I've found their customer services really helpful, so I'd tweet, email or phone them and ask about the tv.

Personally, with a family, I would get the cheapest cabin I could for the daytime crossing. It would be worth it for somewhere safe to leave bags, have your own loo/shower to freshen up and lounge about, even with no-one sleeping. You could get away with a 2 berth, even if there is more of you.

Hello - sorry to bump a zombie thread but would love a Brittany Ferries discount code if any of you knowledgeable people have one!
