Just wondered for those of you who have travelled a lot to the states...what airline would you avoid. Will be travelling with kids...9 to 14.. need to make sure they have their own screen. Any recommendations? Economy for us.
Thanks

Wow, thanks for all the responses!! Only just back on now. It's for a potential west coast trip- San Francisco/los Angeles.

I've had no problem with Delta. I avoid AA.

If you are flying to LA then go Air NZ. Always have great experiences with them. I hate to fly anything else these days.

We have flown with Virgin and American Airlines to the states. I found both to be really good, and comparable with each other in terms of service, food etc.

I would def fly AA again, we had screens in the back of the seats, good films, standard food, loads of alcohol! Much better value than Virgin!

We flew with Norwegian Air this summer to NY and back from Boston. They were very good, brand new nice planes. Don't bother with the food though (you pay extra), it wasn't worth it.
