Easter Paris Break inc Disneyland

Me, DH, DD (9) and DS (7) are planning a week in Paris over Easter. We haven't told the DCs yet but are looking at including a trip to Disney.

I can only seem to find packages to Disney with travel/hotel but we were thinking of getting a Eurostar plus Airbnb in Montmarte or similar and maybe a day trip to Disney from there.

But am worried that we won't be able to fit it all in if only going for a day - is a couple of days best? Also there seems to be some evening shows so perhaps better to stay onsite so avoiding late night travel? DD not a great traveller so would like to minimise travel as much as poss.

Am now thinking of booking 2 lots of accommodation and maybe Eurostar to Gare Du Nord on way in and from Disney on way home but I may be over complicating it (which is not unusual Confused). Any advice on combing a Paris/Disneyland break most welcome.

Thanks Scone. We have decided we're either definitely staying at a Disney hotel or one a couple of stops away so thanks for the recommendation. Also great to know re food as at least we can take a picnic on the first day and a few snacks to keep the costs down.

Sequoia lodge has a heated indoor pool which is nice for the kids.

Unless they've changed the pools Davy Crockett ranch has the best pool of the actual Disney hotels , the pools are all closed for maintenance on rotation so you do need to check when booking that the pool is open at the place you want to stay if it's important to you.

I would say stay at Disneyland rather than Paris and take the train into Paris for a day trip.

whilst we did one trip by Eurostar it is usually cheaper to self drive. Have a look at Brittany Ferries hotel plus ferry deals. We once got a good deal at the Kyriad at Disney through them.
we also used P & O ferries one time and stayed at the Relais Spa which is a good self catering option. Nb. Pool there is adult only.
The Novotel in the area is also good but does not have self catering facilities.
The best value with the park tickets is to go for more than 2 days or on a few trips within the year with an Annual Pass (fantasia). Then you get free parking in the main carpark, early entry to the park and discounts on the restaurants.

It is definitely worth staying near the park to enjoy the daily fireworks and music displays at the castle. That was our favourite bit.
