Train from Southampton to Haywards Heath

Am I right in thinking that I will need to change at Three Bridges and that there won't be a direct train?

Is it worth buying a ticket beforehand I wonder?
The train line.com is quoting £15.30.

Anyone? TIA

I just looked it up, it seems that you always need to change, not necessarily at three bridges. £15.30 is the walk-on off-peak fare, so there is no need to buy in advance, although if you do it will save you time when you are travelling. If you are going some time in the future, rather than today/tomorrow then you might get a cheaper advance ticket for a specific train.

There used to be a service via Hove which would be direct.

Try Southampton to Brighton, then Brighton to Haywards Heath.

I've found a direct train! Happy days!
