Going for 5 days with two teens. Really looking forward to it. I know it's expensive etc but I'd love to hear what places we shouldn't miss.

With teens, you could go to Kristiana, the hippie commune, on a walking tour. We loved it there and went back to stroll around and go to the veggie restaurant the next day.

Also the vintage shops are totally cool. Set back a bit from the main square, my DD and ds loved them, aged 18 and 14.....

Google the walking tours, they are free and just for tips. They take you around all the main points.

We loved Tivoli and it was all Christmassy when we went, so it was beautiful.... So unDisney and so clean....

A free walking tour departs from the main tourist office (opposite Tivoli) every morning at, I think, 10am.

Can I ask for those that went in December - were there fireworks ? Have only been once before in May years ago and was lovely up no fireworks.

We are thinking of going for 2 days in either Oct half term or in early December. Thank you

Tivoli was mesmerising. We were there of an evening (went in winter) before kids and it was just magical.
