Thinking ahead to next years holidays as for the past 3 years we have holidayed in the Algarve in August Alvor or Carvoeiro for easiness. Staying in private holiday let's with pool (mixture of children families from different nationalities but mainly English). Nice relaxing atmosphere during the day warm but cooling breeze during the day good food nice family meals out at different restaurants at night. But no on site facilities for the kids just a pool and made up games of tig, hide and seek and ball games which has always proved successful etc. Thinking next year we would like either a few more facilities table tennis table football and or snack bar etc but not the mad busy level of All Inclusive. Where was your favourite holiday with older children and why?

Siam Park is brilliant, Baby, am sure your teenagers will love it.

Thanks Serial - This will probably be our last family holiday before my eldest ds heads off to Uni and it's also just before his 18 th birthday and after A levels for ds1 and GCSE's for ds2 so we want it to be a good one that the kids really enjoy. We've only had a few foreign holidays over the years.

Three teens here and we spent a week in a house in france this sumber. Very quiet pol on site. However just down the road was a lake with boats and kayaks and segway and mini golf. Swimming pool with slides too. Really cheap and everyone was happy. I thought they were going to be bored but actually best holiday we have done

Lake Garda - Bella Italia campsite. There is a whole range of accommodation there from a hotel, apartments, bungalows, chalets and tents. Lots of pools, lake to swim in with pedalos, kayaks and boats for hire, 3 restaurants, nearby town to walk to. Lots of places to visit around the lake as well as Verona and Venice nearby for day trips.
