Canary island hotel recommendations for October

Can anyone suggest a good hotel we can book for a week in October? We have just done a big touring holiday so absolutely need this to be pool, bar, dinner bed type thing. AI preferable and close to the airport. Don't want hours on a coach when we get there but something close to a town or a marina are would be good for a walk.

We have just booked to go to Sandos San Blas Resort in August (in Tenerife). Its all inclusive and 10 minutes from the airport. No idea obviously what it will be like but reviews look good...after I spent days researching them.

I would never go to a hotel in the Canaries as the food can be variable.
We go self-catering and eat out as the restaurants are so good
Tripadvisor however has useful results Google hotels and Lanzarote

Thanks concert. Not interested in self catering. We've just done it for a month. Need a complete break.
