If you were fit and healthy would you be ok to travel in Europe on a 2 hour flight?

Would you even be allowed to?
And no I wouldn't want to.

No

Toocold · 11/02/2016 16:52

No, I went from nothing to giving birth within four hours with my second child, is this your first?

99percentchocolate · 11/02/2016 16:52

You won't be allowed. You can only fly at 36 weeks with a Drs note.

dinkystinky · 11/02/2016 16:53

No. You wouldn't be allowed to either.

CMOTDibbler · 11/02/2016 16:53

No, and the airline wouldn't let you either

Vixxfacee · 11/02/2016 16:55

Stupid

vvviola · 11/02/2016 16:56

No way. But then I wouldn't have been able to even if the airlines let me as my DC were 36 & 39 weeks. 2nd one arrived after only 45 minutes of active labour, so there is no way I would risk a flight. Even the airline recommendations seem a little tight for me Grin

BertieBotts · 11/02/2016 16:58

There is no airline who will let you!

Lexipedia · 11/02/2016 17:06

Not a chance.

SusannahD · 11/02/2016 17:06

No

CheerfulYank · 11/02/2016 17:27

I flew at 38 with no drs note or anything.

But 40, I don't know. Where is the person going and for how long, etc.

toffeeboffin · 11/02/2016 17:29

No way.

deepdarkwood · 11/02/2016 17:29

No. But then I had already had my baby for 4 weeks at 40 weeks...

toffeeboffin · 11/02/2016 17:29

Unless you are in an emergency situation i.e. War zone then no.

ZiggyFartdust · 11/02/2016 17:32

Unless you forge the fit to fly letter or have a very tiny bump you wouldn't even get on the flight. And your insurance wouldn't cover you because you would have put yourself outside the standard rules.

I wouldn't, no.

Stylingwax · 11/02/2016 17:34

No. They won't let you.

KitKat1985 · 11/02/2016 18:59

No way would I want to and I'd be amazed if you would find an airline willing to let you anyway.

BumWad · 11/02/2016 19:00

No way!

Girlfriend36 · 11/02/2016 19:02

No ridiculous to even contemplate it imo!!

Whatdoidohelp · 11/02/2016 19:06

Flying at 40 weeks? Don't be ridiculous.

BunloafAndCrumpets · 11/02/2016 20:20

Tell us why you need to please.

VikingVolva · 11/02/2016 20:49

No airline will fly you even short haul that far on.

If you are chartering a private plane, then you would still need to declare it but might find a company who would take you at your own risk and expense.

Thatrabbittrickedme · 11/02/2016 20:53

It's not about being fit and healthy, it's about not giving birth in the air. Ridiculous question Hmm
