we've been to Barcelona, so thats done

maybe a resort with pitches nearby, he's very active and would like to meet other teens (15 yrs)

he doesn't like watersports or the sea and doesn't really sunbathe!

don't really want a resort with loads of toddlers and young kids (sorry!)

thats brilliant, thanks again

one last question hopefully, we have a budget of £2500 for the week, with everything included, flights, hotel, trips, eats etc etc, we don't drink and would live simply when there, do you think that would be enough? we would fly from Scotland, making it a bit more expensive. 2 adults one teen...I know thats like asking how long is a piece of string, but if it's going to be more expensive than that I'd like to be aware before I get all excited and start googling it all.

Well I just looked and accom for 6 nights I think was about 800 Euro, try the apartments or the hotel - apartments can be cheaper, we stayed in the hotel and had breakfast. Flights from LGW can be as little as £40-50 each way per person - no idea re Scotland - car hire about £150 I reckon.

Don't know how much you spend on food etc! It's not stupidly expensive there, a little cheaper than here especially the on tap Prosecco

Hi, as it looked good I was checking it out for ourselves. There aren't any direct flights to Verona from Edinburgh or Glasgow - do you think it would be feasible to fly into Venice and drive from there?

ErgonomicallyUnsound · 07/01/2016 17:36

For sure you could fly to Venice - not as close as Verona but not silly distance.

Edin goes to Venice on easyjet, rookie!

might see you there, it sounds fab!

thanks ergo!

The Sporting Lisbon Academy (of Ronaldo's fame) do holiday camps in the Summer. The schedule is available from April and it's for up to 16 year olds.
