Planning our second visit to DLP (yay). We tacked the last visit on to a camping week in France so had a car and we stayed in caravan park not too far away. Next time we will be flying so need something near the supermarket and easy to get to DLP and Paris.

We never usually stay in hotels because of cost and wanting to have our own space from the DCs who also need their space to settle at night. Any ideas on accommodation with a separate bedroom?

When I have done a search on this subject on forums the reply is always 'you will all be so tired from Disney you'll all sleep at the same time'. I know my kids and I know they won't. Also I'd like to knock back a couple of glasses of red in peace with DH before we turn in ourselves.

Not been myself, but have researched this exact thing.

Here is the place /www.disneylandparis.co.uk/hotels/disneys-davy-crockett-ranch/rates-rooms/, but downside is that I don't think it's on the Disney transport link.
Other option is to ring up and see if any of the Central hotels offer inter-connecting rooms.

We stayed in an aparthotel at val d'europe, huge shopping centre, train station (1 stop to disney) within walking distance, suited us fine.

We stayed at a Best Western (iirc) in Bussy St Georges with interconnecting rooms, less than 100e a night but several years ago.

I've stayed at the Sejours et Affaires aparthotels in Val d'Europe. We had a 1 bedroom room which was setup rather like a bedsit type with a main living room area (with sofabed, where I slept) and small kichette that included a hob, microwave and fridge. Leading off that was a bathroom and separate bedroom with twin beds, where the kids slept while I drank wine and ate cheese and pate in peace in front of the tv each night
I was fairly cheap £60 ish per night IIRC and right next to the shopping centre with free bus to Disney or 1 stop away on the RER train.

There were definitely several other similar aparthotels nearby, including Adagio, Residholme and Hipark. Davey Crockett's Ranch is Disney owned so far more expensive although the price did include park tickets (we have annual passes so didn't need tickets) but I'm pretty sure they still don't have buses running out there yet, so only any good if you are driving really. I think the larger family rooms at hotels like Explorers and Magic circus also has separate bedrooms too, but they will be just hotel rooms and not include the kitchenette facilities of the aparthotels.

We were at the Crockett Ranch a couple of years ago, def no buses you do need a car. It was fab though, and would fit the bill for you perfectly as there is a room with bunk beds at one end, a seating/kitchen area in the middle and the adult bedroom at the other end. I think it's the only DLP place with a swimming pool too.

There are separate room attached to the main room at The Explorer's Hotel on site. It was a long time ago we went there, but I remember it was nice. Also, if you want to splash out a bit more, the Marriott at Ile de France is VERY nice, we had a two bed / two bed house. There is indoor/outdoor pool etc.

Many thanks for the suggestions. Apart hotel next to Val d'Europe sounds great. We can grab some food from the hypermarket easily.

Sorry this may be a bit of a thread hijack, so boot me off if it is! But this has inspired me to look at going to DP. I priced up going in August and it doesn't seem too bad - does anyone know when the French summer holidays are?
Also the Dream Castle has rooms with a separate curtain and bunkbeds for DCs - not the same as separate rooms I know, but looks good - has anyone stayed there?

French school holidays

We went ton 30/31 August this year to coincide with DD2's birthday. It was busy but not unbearable. 45-50 minute wait for some rides but it didn't feel too crowded. With annual passes getting us in early and the fastpass system we were able to do plenty (but still stuff left for the next visit). Only drawback was it was very hot but the queues for the rides were shaded.

I did see the room photos for Dream Castle with the curtains round the bunk beds. That's a great idea. I think we'll go for the self catering apartment plan. It will be easier to prep picnic lunches etc.
