snowy/winter holiday advice

Hi,
I'm hoping that I might get some advice here. I work in the NHS and have got next Christmas 2017, off as annual leave. Having worked numerous Christmas days etc over the years we want to do something special as I am unlikely to be off again for several years.
We have decided that we would like to go somewhere snowy but are not really bothered about skiing. We have 3 dc 15, 9 and 7 and would like somewhere with snowy activities on offer ie maybe tobogganing, snowmobiling etc. I have a picture of a little snowy cabin in Sweden or something and us having a really memorable Christmas with lots of fun!
Any ideas/ tips/ recommendations would be appreciated.

You won't get many daylight hours in Sweden in winter

I think companies like Discover the World have winter wonderland type activity holidays with husky sleds, the ice hotel and reindeer. Usually the choices are Sweden or Finland. No, not much daylight, but that is the essence of the trip, isn't it? Something different and it gives a view of how others live. I would get looking right now because I think these holidays sell out well in advance.

We went to find tigers in India one Christmas. Something completely different. Our DDs opened a few presents in a tiger reserve in the back of a jeep! We also went to Kenya on safari one New Year. Have fun looking.
