Disneyland Paris

We are going to DLP October half term. I have accommodation sorted but am confused about best way to get there. Accommodation is right near the park so we need to get to the Disney station.
Flying is out as it is ££££'s. Driving is a last resort, so I'm looking at the Eurostar. The Disney special straight there is full so I guess we will have to go via Paris. What is the best thing to do from there? RER A or another train? How easy will it be with a travel grumpy husband and 2 children? Any advice appreciated. TIA

Driving is seriously the best way to go ,it's so quick and easy and means you can get full days in either end if your trip . If you do not live local to the tunnel stay nearby overnight to cut the journey time .

why is driving a last resort ? Driving in France is easy, the road system is fantastic and it' much cheaper than going on the train and much less bother.
We have just booked this morning to go in half term and I wouldn't dream of doing anything other than driving.
No worrying about how much stuff you have. No worrying about missing the train . No getting from the station to the hotel.

We will go on the ferry probably to Dunkirque to bypass all the bother at Calais and Eurotunnel, we just came back from France and Dunkirque was a doddle

Look at private transfers. We flew out as cheapest option. Driver picks you up at airport and takes you straight to hotel, then collects you at end of hol and drives you back to airport. It cost us less than £80 for 3 or us and they provided car seat for dd. Which bizzarely worked out much less then a space on a coach having to stop at every other hotel too (takes hours), and the train.

The only hotel that close is the main disney hotel. All others you have to get on the free buses outside disney station.

You can get private transfers from train station too. Just like a posh taxi. Get you there quickest with least hassle.

If the direct train to Disney is full the next easiest option is Eurostar to Lille and then change onto the TGV which will take you direct to the Disney station. No need to go into Paris as I think you have to change stations and it's not a stress-free experience by any means!
