With such a short connection time in Paris, where I need to get from one terminal to the next, would you reccmmend I bring a pushchair which I will need despite it potentially slowing me down and causing me to miss my flight, as, if I miss my flight for any reason anyhow, I'll need a pushchair to help me carry my toddler through the next 7 hours, but also, what do I do about car seats? My elderly father is collecting us at Genoa but has no child car seats. Would I be best off flying mine over and doubling the risk of missing the connecting flight, or should I just hire one out there? If I have a toddler, push chair and car seat, would they prioritise me in anyway or would it just be the typical 'bof' by the french when it all goes wrong?
Am dreading this trip with Air France - introducing my daughter to my dad (yes, he hasn't met her yet and she's nearly two) ten years ago they cancelled my flight then flew me halfway to my destination (which was Paris) and then left me there to get a train the rest of the way, as they 'realised' they had fuel strikes in Paris that day. Dicks. So, I'm worried the same will happen again, but this time with a toddler who HATES flying and who has to endure 2 flights just to get to Genoa.
All short-connection time advice and Air France travel tips much appreciated.
