Ok so i just got married on Saturday just gone, and now we're thinking about our honeymoon...thinking we could book it for next year to coincide with our 1st wedding anniversary....

BUT we are stuck for ideas!

We want to make it count, we want it to be memorable, as we don't get to go away very often and our lovely wedding guests were generous enough to give is enough money as a good starting point for a decent holiday.

Amy suggestions for a good place to honeymoon? Where did you go?

(We'd like to avoid areas of political unrest or terrorist threats please!)

if you've only ever left him with relatives 3 times, do you really think you'll be comfortable being on a different continent from him for 2 weeks?

Some friends just came back from a European road trip with their 3 year old. They had a great time.

Hmm yeah that's a point... think we're going to have to give this a bit more consideration than we initially thought

We celebrated our honeymoon in Maldives. I believe, Honeymoon in Maldives is DEFINATELY a good idea... anytime of the year! We spent our honeymoon in Mardives in July last year. It was amazing time! I can turn back time, I'd go there for my honeymoon one more time. Everything was planned and organized by thesevenagency.com/destination/maldives/honeymoons . Weather was great. Only 2 rainy days:) We spent them in our hotel room :xox and it resulted into our beautiful baby-girl;)

We did a three week tour around Costa Rica. It was amazing!

We went to Maldives, a tiny island spa resort. It was very expensive (all inclusive) but we will never forget it. There were several restaurants, a spa, water sports centres, tennis courts, boat trips, a teeny tiny island you could go and have dinner on your own there... The whole experience was fantastic, customer service fantastic and I would most definitely recommend if you're into relaxing, having massages, getting drunk and swimming. Not all at the same time. Congrats Wine

We went in Jan and it was lush, no rain at all. [Smug] Grin
