Where would you go? Looking for top luxury hotel in interesting city with stuff to do/see for a few days after Xmas. Done Paris to death so not there!

Rome - was warm enough to eat outside under a patio heater abc wander about daytime in jumpers without jackets. Fab food and drink, entertainment (live bands in some of the piazzas) -fireworks over the Tiber and you couldn't ask for more history! Though I do love Berlin and really fancy some of the other suggestions!!

Stockholm by far the best ny Eve ever.

Reykjavik - definitely.

Monaco

Vienna + a ticket to one of their balls.

Edinburgh

Second Rome. Just a fabulous place.
