Aparthotel near EuroDisney

Due to DHs fear of flying Hmm we are now going to get the train from Northern England to the South of France.

To break the journey up, we thought we'd stay 2 nights near DLP and take DS who will be nearly 4.

Then I looked at the cost of EuroDisney hotels Shock £1300 for 2 nights in the main one!

So a re-think has been to look for a cheap aparthotel nearby.

We'd like a 2 bed apartment with a shuttle service to the Park.

I have found a few on-line but reviews have been pretty mixed.

Does anyone know of any that are good and not too expensive?

(This was meant to be a cheap break - Eurocamp when we get to the South of France, but DH has pretty much doubled the cost because he won't get on a plane. Am tempted to drug his milk BA Barracas style)

We stayed at a best western in Bussy St Georges , 2 adjoining rooms. There is an Adagio Aparthotel nearby or try Davy Crockett.

Thank you - will look those up.

Davy Crockett looked like a good option until I saw there was no shuttle to the park and we won't have a car, so that seemed to rule that out.

we stayed at the adagio in february. perfect for us and 2 minutes to the shopping centre and bus stop. 10 mins to the supermarket.

warning though, if going during peak times the buses back at the end of the day are hellish busy so plan your return time.

I thought that looked good. It's not showing any availabilty for 2 beds when we want to go, but I htink I will give them a call.

I highly recommend the Marriott vacation club that's near Eurodisney. You can stay in your own two bed townhouse for £256 per night, so much nicer than the Disney hotels and so much cheaper too!

It's easy to drive to the park from there each day and you can stop off in the nearby village & buy food - there is great bakery there, we lived on French bread & croissants.

Sorry just saw you won't have a car. Can't remember if there's a shuttle or not from the Marriott.

I'll have a loook and see if there's a shuttle! Thank you

Try Hipark Serris at Val D'Europe, we stayed there a couple of years ago and it was great for a couple of nights. Close to shopping centre and free shuttle to Disney/train station. Also cheap as I remember

Fab! Thank you Thanks

You would not necessarily need a 2 bed at the adagio as there is a double bedroom and space that you could bring one of the single mattresses through from the lounge.

We didn't bother though. I slept beside ds and dh slept in the lounge. Don't under estimate how tired you will be at the end of the day.

The Residhome Aparthotel in Val D'Europe is great, I've stayed there 3 times now when at Disneyland Paris. They're nice little self-catering apartment rooms, the area has a huge shopping centre and supermarket just down the road from the hotel. It's 1 stop on the train to the Disney parks, takes 3 minutes, and the train tickets are only about €1,50 each. Or there's a free shuttle bus service from outside the shopping centre.
The hotel does great deals too, if you choose a room with a no-cancellation policy you get it a fair bit cheaper.

Another recommendation for the Residhome. The train is sooo easy and frequent and none of the scrums for the shuttle bus. Plus the DC loved all the different floors.

There is an entrance to the station less than a minutes walk away, the train is every 10 mins and it's 1 stop to disney - v quick.

It's a few mins walk to the mall and at the Auchan end- a huge supermarket

Clawdeen · 27/04/2015 07:38

To clarify- the different floors/levels on the train

Residhome is booked Grin

Thank you for all the reccomendations! It looks just what we needed. So excited now!

PS - If anyone else is booking, I got a better deal on Trivago through Expedia than on the hotel website.

You'll have a fab time! At Val d'europe station, exit 2 is the one closest to the Residhome. You can see it from the platform! Exit 1 is the main one ( has lift so useful with luggage/buggy) and closest to the mall - still only a few minutes walk to the Residhome
