Hi

I'm looking for euro disney tips and best way to go about it.

We In bristol I'd like to avoid driving but flying will be costly, not sure if we went to london for the Eurostar how you go from there, I looked at coach trips but not sure whether they good value or not?

Do you need at least 2 days in park?
Are you cheaper to go at any particular time?
I assume weekdays cheaper than weekend? Shock

Generally don't know where to start so any help gratefully received!!

We did Easyjet to Charles de Gaulle and then the high-speed train direct to the park. Really easy journey, honestly, even with a 3 year old. We stayed in a hotel in Val d'Europe - much cheaper than Disney and there's a free bus to the parks. I definitely think you need 2 days at the parks. We went out of school holidays as air fares and hotel were cheaper.

I'm thinking September as schools will have just started flying would be £280 for the 3 of us before anything else unfortunately

I've seen a coach trip which does 3 nights 2 days and it says online 1st child free for convenience of getting on a bus and being shipped there I'm going to call them tomorrow get more info

Is the company siesta? We booked through them last year and would really recommend them

Eurostar every time - if you get the right one it goes straight to Disneyland Paris, so no further travel arrangements required if you're staying in a Disney hotel (other than the free shuttle bus).

Eurostar is good, I'd recommend it. I have been via coach too, and it's great value but can be more awkward - you have to get off at the ferry/shuttle port to go through customs and take all your luggage which is a bit of faff.
Tickets for the parks are the same price weekday or weekend, but are much cheaper if you buy in advance. Hotels in Val d'Europe (2mins from Disney on the train) are great, I thoroughly recommend the Residhome Aparthotel for a great self-catering apartment.
2 days is definitely needed to see everything, one day per park. Weekdays are much quieter and you're more likely to get on more rides without the long queues. Get fast passes (free!) for some of the bigger rides, much quicker.
I recommend staying until close for the Dreams show at the castle, it's beautiful.

We just got back from Eurostar trip to Paris with one day in Disneyland. We managed to do the best of both the Studios and Disneyland in one day, but our kids are older 8 and 6 and we were exhausted. I'd say you definitely need 2 days. We managed to get cheaper tickets through Attractiontix (it includes both parks). Some of our favourite rides were in the Studios.

While researching I found out May half term is actually a great time to go. No french school holidays and I think most of Europe in school too (may have made that last bit up though!). There are websites to check the school hols. It might be cheaper then too. It was pretty rammed when we were there even though 2 of the french school zones weren't off. Fast passes are great but they run out of them on some rides. I also discovered that you can get hold of VIP fast passes after we'd gone on ebay. Might be worth investigating.

We saved money on food by taking packed lunch and by nipping out to the sandwich place in the station there. And bought loads of disney stuff for the kids in Disney Store here before so that we didn't have to spend loads there. We ran out of time to visit the shops anyway!

The disneyland trip advisor forum is really good for planning.

I found The Independent guide to DLP 2015. Really useful too
