Has anyone used this?
We're planning a holiday to Spain in sept when DS1 will be 3.2yo. He's already over 15kg (min weight) so will be within weight range for it, but almost a year younger.

Just a bit nervous about car rental seat hiring. Don't really want to bring his usual seat from home a sits massive and wouldn't want it to get damaged.

Any experiences using this booster seat? What age was your DC?

Thanks

We got one for DD when she was five. It was really useful as you can take it on a plane as hand luggage. Would recommend for ages (4-12) as it says on website but not sure about having a younger child on there. If he is the right weight then it should be okay.

We have one and find it very useful, but we got it when DS was 5. The one drawback is when he fell asleep in the car (jet lag!) there was no back and head support and so his head was rolling about a bit which didn't seem at all comfy.

I wouldn't use a backless booster for a child of that age

I have one for 4.5 yr old DD. It is great for travelling but there really is no back or side support so pretty useless when they are sleeping and much less protection than a normal car seat. I am still not super comfortable about DD using it and she is almost five.

If you are worried about the hire car seat couldn't you just buy a fairly cheap seat from a hypermarket when you are there?
