Disneyland Paris - can you drop-off by car for free?

I can't find this info on the Disneyland Paris website or elseweb. I want to drive DSs and DP from our hotel (10 mins away) to the entrance to Disneyland Park, pause for two minutes while they get out of the car, then drive off into the sunset (aka a lovely day by myself in Paris). I don't want to actually park. Is this possible? Or do I have to pay for parking?

Or is it so faffy to do this that it would be better if they went in on the RER (our hotel is quite near a RER stop)? I was just thinking to save them the slight hassle of the train journey, especially at the end of the day when I expect they will all be knackered.

Yes this is possible although strictly speaking there are no official 'drop off points.' Instead of following the signs for Parcs Disney, which will take you to the main visitor car park (where you pay a daily fee of around €20) and has no pedestrian access, follow the signs to Disney Village instead.

This will take you up a side road that ends in a roundabout, where it should be fine for you to stop for a few moments to let out passengers. I've seen people doing similar in the past. There is also a smaller, multi-storey, pay per hour car park (Vinci) here too, and its actually a much shorter walk to the parks from this entrance. Not a lot of people know about it though and as Disney don't advertise it, I guess they want it kept that way.

Ah, great, thanks very much that's really helpful. I don't suppose you could point me to a map or remember some street names as well? No worries if not, I'd just feel safer if I could see it on a map first!

Sorry for taking so long to come back. The road you want to get to is Avenue Paul Seramy. you will know its the right one as it will look like you are driving directly to the big pink Disneyland Hotel. at the point where you can't drive any closer you should be able to see the blue/green gates which say 'Disneyland' on them (this is actually the bag check point).

I guess if you want to see a map, Google maps is probably the best. Just put in the zip for DLP-77700. Are you staying in Val d'Europe? If so I could probably give you directions from there if it helps :)

No worries. Any reply is a bonus!

I can see the Avenue Paul Seramy on google maps, thanks, that's helpful. For the rest I think I will just have to stop fretting and trust your description, which sounds very clear. We're not staying in Val d'Europe but Bussy-saint-georges, but it's easy enough to come up the Avenue Paul Seramy anyway. I think I'm just feeling anxious because I find theme parks stressful anyway (but hooray, I don't have to go round it myself!)

Thanks again for your help - much appreciated.
