Has anyone got one of these? i want to know how easy it is to fit as i need it to go in and out of my car and DH's. I've looked up the details on the Britax site and it seems to have all the features such as easy to adjust head rest/harness position. i thought i might choose this one as it lasts from 9kgs up to 36kgs and so i wont have to get another at age 4.

I've just got one for my 9 mth old, it is really nice. It is very heavily padded and with deep sides so it is very cosy and looks very safe. you can slightly adjust the width and I've put my 3 yr old in it and he is fine, but he is pretty slim and it might be a bit of a squash for a chunkier child. But all in all I'd go for it, I'm very happy with it.

I have one for my very chunky 2.9 yo dd. I'm also very happy with it. The only problem for a smaller child is that you can't pull it to recline while the child is in it.
It does involve a lot of seatbelt, and doesn't fit in my mum's car as the belts aren't long enough. But we like it! I would say that for a normal sized toddler, a reclining stage 2 seat followed by a booster seat (with back) might work out better. The booster seats aren't expensive. But dd is too big for her stage 2 seat now and we wanted one with a 5-point harness.

I've got the Evolva 123 Ultra which has more padding and adjustable width than the basic one. dd is a petite 5yr old and very comfortable in it, she is so light she still needs a harness. Personally I wouldn't recommend it for a young baby as the recline is slight and fixed. Nor would I want to shift regularly it from one car to another. It is a snug fit due to the length of belt required and doesn't suit all cars.

Ah yes. We have the Ultra too.

Mmm..sounds like a good seat, but not necessarily one for moving from car to car. Think i might now use it all the time in my car for ds (10 months) and then he can have dd's Britax duo in dh's car, as she is 3 and big enough to have a stage 2 seat. Does anyone know if the booster with backs type of seats easy to swap from car to car?

VERY easy!

Do you mean a high back booster, in which case you just lift them out unless it is the Jane Isofix which may be more fiddly.

Yes, you know the ones with a headrest and side wings - what sort do you have BBS?

mines an ultra too.

don't know what makes it different from a non ultra though!

The sides don't move on the non-Ultra and it isn't as well padded with a different type of fabric.
