Taking two DDs to Disneyland Paris over Easter - age 2 and 5. Are we mad? Have never been before, can you give me any advice please?! They will be most interested in seeing Princesses! Should we get tickets before or are they the same price on the door - I couldn't work it out from the website...

Thanks!

Given the strength of pound vs. Euro I'd buy on the gate. Be prepared to queue for princesses, they do a meet and greet but also appear behind the castle.

There is a great trip advisor forum for disneyland Paris which has loads of really helpful tips.

I imagine it will be heaving but will still be lots of fun.

There is a princess pavilion where you queue to meet 1 princess. However people often start queuing for a time slot in 'extra magic hours'- the park is open earlier for 2 hours for disney hotel guests only - so you may find all the slots have gone before you get there.

There is a meet and greet queue for Rapunzel though I've read queue times of 2-2.5 hours are usual.

There is also a restaurant 'auberge de cendrillon'- expensive but you meet 3 princesses and a prince. Likely to be fully booked but you may be lucky and get a cancellation.

There are lots of princesses in the parade ( at 5.30 I think) and we saw princesses going to and from the pavilion and got a wave which satisfied my DDs and we didn't bother queuing

We've just got back with our two dds, aged almost 3, and 5. I can confirm we queued almost 3 hours to meet Rapunzel! With the Princess Pavillion, you queue for a time slot. They start issuing tickets from 10.30, so I would suggest queuing from 10. You then get a half hour slot for later in the day. However, we still waited an hour when we got there! But it was really good, they made a big fuss of the girls, and we actually ended up buying 3 photos they took, as they were lovely. Paid about €20 for 3 pics.

As another poster said, you do see quite a few princesses in the 5.30 parade, including Anna & Elsa!

Of course! Wink Trouble was, we were told an hour when we joined the queue, and by the time we realised it would be longer, we were committed! Grin
