Will be in Bath for 2 days over Easter. Any suggestions that would be good for a 7 and 5 year old?

Thank you

The Roman baths had people dressed up as Romans when we were there which was fun. The cathedral did a find the clues trail with a prize at the end and there is a glass blowing experience at a glass jewellery and ornaments place, possibly called bath Aqua or similar. I have only been as a visitor- I'm sure residents will have lots more ideas.

The big oark in central Bath (can't remember the name). Mine loved the play area and the crazy golf.

There is a nice pub over the road from the play area for food. Or on a fine weather day day take a picnic.

Park not oark - sorry

There is a massive playground near the hospital (could be the same one as the PP mentions)

We went to the Roman baths recently - it was amazing our DC (in the age range you mentioned) loved it. There is a child specific audio tour which was brilliant too.

At the TIC you can buy a 'treasure hunt' kit around the city. Vicky park has play area and crazy golf if the weather is good. Costume museum is fab (if your kids like that!!) as is the Holborn art museum - which has sculpture in garden and lovely cafe! Hope you have fun!!

I remember a visit to the American museum when I was very young. It's one of those places that stuck with me. Possibly because of a teepee.

Great thank you for the suggestions!

Trip on the river.
Holborne museum and the park it's set in - the train line goes through and it's good for waving at the drivers. The canal is nearby too
Rowing on the Avon
Victoria Park
Roman Baths (though I'm sure they'll be busy)
Children's cream tea in the pump rooms
Bus tour

If you have a car there are some great parks, woods and bits of nature to scuttle around in the outskirts of the city
