Luxury family reunion holiday

Looking for somewhere to stay for a week in summer for a family reunion of over 20 people, ranging in age from over 70 years old to 7 months old. Must keep retirees who like sightseeing (& spending time with family),childless thirty somethings looking for glamour & cocktails, parents of young kids and parents of preschooler & baby happy. It's impossible isn't it?! Someone suggested a cruise but the two young families (particularly the one with the baby) think it's too expensive really. Any other suggestions?!!

London.
Sightseeing yes, cocktails and glamour, yes, stuff for kids yes.
Hire a house or serviced apartment.

Or South of France, has all the above, fly to nice.

I don't think centreparcs hits the sightseeing and cocktails/glamour requirements! Unless you think cagoules are glam!

OR...
Cornwall, beautiful sights for the oldies, beaches for the kids, smart hotels like the scarlet where the 30 year olds can go for cocktails. They may also enjoy some surfing and trendiness at fistral beach with more glam cocktails at the headland hotel and spa afterwards.
Places to stay, watergate bay hotel ticks all the boxes being glamorous yet family friendly. Or you could hire a house or cottage. Bedruthan steps isn't my cup of tea but some people love it. Headland has the most amazing views and has some self catering cottages as well as the hotel.

OR
Cape Town. Sightseeing, fab restaurants and glamour, great for kids.

Hire somewhere in Tuscany. Can be within a hour of the coast, access to spa towns, train/drive to Pisa, Florence et al. Agriturismo or look at Citalia, Inghams, Classic Collection holidays and so on.

If some people say they cannot afford a cruise, then Cape Town is probably out of reach. I think London is great but do any of the group live there already? What about a super hotel with a spa somewhere like Bath or the New Forrest? Plenty to do nearby and glamour if you want it. Paris would work if you could agree on a hotel . I think someone will have to compromise though and glamour might be difficult to get at the price others can afford.

Oh yes The Scillies.
You could rent lots of cottages on Tresco (they're close together). It's really gorgeous.

Or thinking about Bedruthen Steps, the families could stay there and the others could stay at The Scarlet next door.

Or, Chewton Glen.

Or, what about somewhere on the Amalfi Coast.

Thanks all for your suggestions! Italy would probably be lovely. Don't think we want to stay in the uk, but the two families with young children ideally wouldn't want to fly complete long haul. The thing with cruises is almost full price for a 6 month old - which is a bit crazy.

Have a look at some of the overseas suggestions for baby-friendly boltholes.
Mr & Mrs Smith Family section has changed a bit since I last used them, but they have some good ideas too.
As does Destinology in the "family" section

www.chateaurigaud.co.uk is somewhere we never managed to get to. Is that the sort of thing you are after or more like a posh hotel plus villa complex like this:
www.destinology.co.uk/agios-nikolaos/hotel/daios-cove-luxury-resort-and-villas/18800/family/

Have a think about how "hot" the little kids could tolerate if you are going in the summer.
