Luxury family holiday

Please may I have your help planning a high-stakes holiday? I am in desperate need of a holiday after a very tough couple of years. My parents have offered to either take us on a lovely holiday or to give us some money for us to go without them. My parents like luxury hotels and I love them too, especially the idea that I won't have to cook or clean up all week! My DH prefers villas because it gives more space and prefers the privacy. To me that's just NOT a holiday! Anyway i need to choose somewhere fabulous that will totally convert DH to hotels AND will be family friendly BUT luxury enough for my parents. Where should we go? I want a lovely sandy beach because I'm so keen to build sand castles and play in the waves with DD, a lovely warm pool to take her swimming in, a playground, family friendly restaurants and opening times. And golf for my dad and DH. In Europe with lovely warm weather. Please help me! Thank you SO much in advance.

Scrap last suggestion. Hotel being refurbished until July. Sorry.

I've stayed at La Sireneuse in Positano and it is fairly fabulous. Plenty of other luxury hotels to choose from there. Positano is lovely.

True
What is the budget?
Ie villa with staff? Villa hotel? Suites at a hotel
Sani in halkidiki will set you back c.£12k for a week for a suite?

Ricoh hotel turkey? Not too far away.

A serviced villa?

Hello again! Thank you all so much. Have been doing my research and am going to send a list to my parents based on the suggestions here. That way they can decide on budget. Is Sani amazing? It should be for £12k!

Couple of comments as I've been to most of the hotels mentioned here with kids.

The Sani - its made up of 4 different hotels - the MN favourite is the Porto Sani which will set you back a fortune... We have always done the Sani Hotel - which was completely refurbished 2 x years ago and all the rooms totally revamped. they do great interconnecting rooms as well as suite but is a far more affordable option. However there is nothing outside of the resort and for a lot of people this puts them off - however fab for kids ( although ime perhaps slightly older toddler upwards.

Obama great but not as nice as Garnd bahia del duque which I would say is much better located and v fa,ily friendly
Forte village in sardinia super ££

Vila vita parc v v v good for kids and a great selection of accommodation and in a beautiful setting so could be great option.

I am watching this thread with interest as I am also looking to book a fab holiday - do any of the recommended hotels have bars/cafes/restaurants within easy walking distance (with a pushchair)? We hate being stuck in a resort and like eating out in random places.

Thanks and apologies for hijack!

Abama very child friendly...not sure I'd go without kids actually!

How about Sensatori hotels or are they not luxury enough?? Lara Beach in at Turkey has some very nice hotels and most are v family friendly.
