DH has a 'thing' to sort out in beaconsfield on Saturday. is there anything in the area, or beyond, that would interest a 4.5 and 2.5 year old
weather looking a bit iffy, but have water proofs

instead of them missing out on a whole day of daddy thought I might try to combine his thing with their thing

in a car, so can travel
thank you

There is a model village in Beaconsfield itself but I'm not sure if that is open yet. If it is, then, if they like trains, it will keep them entertained for a couple of hours as there are loads of model trains to watch go by. There is also a small play area. There is a café or you can walk into Beaconsfield where there are the usual chain restaurants plus some nice independent ones.
About 15 mins away is Odds Farm Park. It is about £10pp (so adults & children) to get in but you can spend an entire day there... a huge soft play barn with big slides, entertainers at the weekend, two outdoor playgrounds, an sand play area, a wooden play area and then the animals...animals to see/feed in a barn and then specific activities every hour or so like bottle feeding lambs, feeding the pigs, cuddling rabbits etc.
There are quite a few country parks in the area which footpaths suitable for pushchairs and play areas as well as large amounts of space for just running around in, playing hide & seek etc. Black Park, Burnham Beeches (not sure this one has a playground), Dyrham Park.
Cliveden is about 20 mins away and has an outdoor play area and a maze as well as the usual National Trust things of running around, hide & seek etc. It has a child friendly restaurant.

Bekonscot model village is good at that age - as well as the little village itself there's a little train you can go on and a play area

I should have said - it's close to the town centre and you can park nearby

I came on to say Odds Farm too. Its expensive but is very much loved by my dds, we go every year when we visit family in the area. The soft play barn is massive.
