All Inclusive deals - recommendations please

Is it possible to get a fortnight early July, 2 adults, 2 DCs (9&7) AI for £2.5/2.7 k?

Looking for somewhere hot, close/On beach. Good food, activities , not to chavvy!

You might be able to if you shop around, although a fortnight might be pushing it if you're looking for something luxurious - maybe 10 days. Where do you want to / not want to go ?

Independent school so they'll be finished early July.

10/11 nights perfect. Always loved Greece, especially islands, not so keen on Spain/Portugal. Someone did suggest that Carribean might not be too expensive that time of year - really ?

Would like somewhere reasonably laid back, not too vast. Don't want to feel like we're on a conveyer belt. Somewhere hot, close to sandy beaches.
Umm.... Lots of things for kids to do, decent food/drink, reasonable rooms.
Somewhere DH & I can just switch off and not have to lift a finger!!

Would say holiday village Rhodes but not sure what price at that time of year as I think private schools will have already broken up then?

Gambia - supposed to be lovely.
Eygpt ? Lots of hotels with private beaches and lovely sea life. Thomson have some good package deals atm.

I would shop around on alpha rooms, travel republic and holiday pirates. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy flights, hotel rooms etc separately, but compare prices to the chains like Thomson as we have got a better deal with them this year.

Great thoughts - thanks. DH very a bit reluctant to go anywhere with political unrest so Egypt, Gambia, Turkey, no goers.

Majorca and Menorca have lots of all inclusive places. If you pick your resort wisely, you can't go wrong.

the resorts on the north coast are all good, pretty and picturesque family-orientated places...Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa, C'An Picafort

We've just booked 10 days in Minorca for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant for £1600 through Travel Republic. I was really impressed with their prices compared to Thomson (who we usually go with).

Blue lagoon village in kos would tick all the boxes. you may have to up the budget though. available through fc or Thompson. (not to be confused with the blue lagoon resort (also in kos).

Forgot to add that's the beginning of July so you should be able to find something in your budget for that time

Any of the viva chain of hotels in menorca/majorca. Lovely food and drink and lots for the kids to do.

Blue Lagoon looks fab but quite pricey.

Someone e lose has recommended Cala Verde Invisa in Menorca.
