BRIGHTON - I know there's a few of you down there!

Depending on the weather I'm planning on driving down to Brighton on Friday so the DCs can run free and throw rocks in the water (easily pleased!) we're planning on coming up afternoonish, maybe visiting the aquarium and having dinner before going home, so can anyone....

1, Recommend a reasonably priced restaurant suitable for taking a 2, 6 and 8 year old? They're pretty well behaved, but we're not going to be dressed for 'up market' Ds2 is the only fussy one, but I'm quite happy to feed him bread and water if there is somewhere nice that works for the rest of us

2/ point me in the direction of vouchers or money off sites for the Aquarium, or have any other suggestions if the weather is poo on the day

Thanks in advance

Carluccios is fab and they do a great £5 kids menu. Or, if you want the full Brighton experience the Regency will fit the bill

Bit off the beaten track but Hove museum is excellent for kids, as is the Booth museum (if they're into dinosaurs and birds that is). Their site's seem to be down a the moment so I cant link for you but you should be able to find all the visitor info at www.24hourmuseum.org.uk

Thanks treacletart

The Regency looks good, right on the seafront is great. Nice mix of food too!

Donatellos is in town, not far from the seafront and is very child friendly, does pizza and pasta stuff.

Asda sometimes do aquarium vouchers, don't know if they are at the mo.

There is a playground on the sea front, can't remember the name, but it's beneath the Alfresco resturant. Kids love it there and there's a paddling pool etc and it's got it's own little food place.

Sorry, brain's gone dead, better than nought though

I'd recommend Fat Leo's (in the lanes) for cheap good italian food and family friendly atmos

Will have a google, and look these places up.

(getting sadly excited about going to the seaside now!)
