We are thinking of going to Cadburys World in Half Term, have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, has anybody been, is it worth it?

Also any other recommendations for things to do with little kids in the area?

Thanks

Ive been, it wasnt quite what I expected (ie willy wonkas chocolate factory!) but it was still good,. you get lots of free chocolate, see the choc. machines, the history etc. Im sure there is quite a good playground too for your elder one. Be comfy as it is a longish walk round the place.

what about Kidderminster safari park? that is FAB. great day out. baby rhinos etc v.cute.

Its very average, just dont get too excited about it. Your four year old will probably love it.

Expensive, not that great IMO - bit too grownup for my 2 as well(were 3 and 14mo when we went. Felt like paying £££ for an advert tbh.

Safari Park is ACE (I live nr Kidderminster!)

Safari Park is brilliant. Also Sealife Centre in Birmingham.

it's expensive but my 2 loved Cad World, esp. the free chocs!

try drayton manor too.

WMids Safari Park,
Sealife Centre (has soft play area at end too, but might be very busy at half term?),
nice playground in Wyre Forest,
Severn Valley Railway (steam train) esp if you have boys!

Also try joining Netmums in the area as they will have a list of libraries/soft play areas and other things to do during half term.

I thought it was a bit disappointing for the money, but your 2 will love it because of the lovely ladies dispensing free chocolate!
The displays/exhibition/play area etc are good, but the big disappointment for me was that I thought I was going to see how chocolates are made. The only part of the factory that you actually see is a packing line.

my children loved cad world but they are 9 and 10
it goes deep into the coco bean and where it comes from and how they make choc from the coco bean
2yr old will be hard work
4yr old might like it (depends on the child)
i would wait a couple of years to be truthful

What about Hatton Country World/Park/Farm whatever it's called? At this time of year ou can go on a tractor ride to the pumpkin field and choose your own to take home, although it is very muddy, but good fun.

Great cheap day out at the Nature Centre, Pershore Road (not far from Edgbaston Cricket Ground. Red Pandas, Porcupines, Lynx, Snakes, wallabies etc. Also rabbits and guinea pigs to hold. I take my ds and I get change from a fiver on admission fee!

Birmingham Eye closed about a month ago.

There's also Think Tank for anybody with slightly older ones.
