Eurodisney, 1 adult, 2 children

I'm thinking of taking dcs to Eurodisney at half term for a day or two. Dh can't come, so I'd be the only adult My concern is how it would work re rides - we went about 3 years ago and my memory is most rides were designed for two people. So would I have to put dcs (9 and 7) in one car and follow alone in the next? Or does everyone have to pair off, so I wouldn't be allowed on? Not sure it's worth going if I don't get to go on any rides and dcs will fight anyway about not getting to sit next to me Grin. Does anyone know how it works?

Most cars are for two people so yes one of you will sit separately perhaps you could take it in turns to be the lone sitter.

I asked this exact question on a disney forum as i am a lp thinking about taking my 2dc aged 9 and 6 in March. I was told most rides are carriages which take up to 4 people so 2 in front and you in back and that people have been allowed to ride as a 3 on buzz etc even though only meant to be 2 seater. I didn't ask about roller coasters though but hope this helps.

Sorry, I thought I'd replied to this but my answer vanished. That's very reassuring re the 4-seater rides. I'm going to weigh up whether I can face this Grin 2anddone, I hope you have a brilliant time.

We went to Eurodisney in the summer - 2 adults and 3 children so same problem. On some rides they let us have 3 in a car, but our youngest is only 3, so that might not have been allowed with older children.

On the Casey Jones ride, our 6yo went alone, in the row in front of us. He was happy with this. However, I wouldn't have wanted to do it on the rides that go high in the air, like Dumbo or the rockets etc. On those rides, we were allowed 3 in a carriage.

I go all the time on my own with my 2 DC and there is nothing we have been on where we can't ride as a 3. We haven't tried a couple of the biggest rollercoasters yet as, aged 7 and 8, my DC don't meet the height restrictions.
Most of the rides are NOT designed for 2 people only and even when they are they are in the 2 in front 2 behind format. there would never be the situation where you would be split up from your DC for a ride, or one of you be made to stay off. that's one thing Disneylad does right IMO, unlike some UK theme parks.

Is Thunder Mountain doable as 3? That is dd1's all-time favourite Grin and if we can't do that, then it's not worth going. I don't mind sitting behind.

Yes thunder mountain is possible as a 3, i've even seen 2 adults and 1 child in a cart on there. The person in the middle does have to have a lump thing between their legs though, but unless they are, ahem, large in the trouser department (it was close to my knees), it shouldn't be any problem.
P.S. If BTM being closed is a deal breaker check ride closure lists before you book!

Thanks so much - if I can summon the energy to drag around dcs, then will do it!
