Well we are flying at the weekend on Ryanair to Ireland from Stansted.
Lots of Questions and we would like some help if anyone is happy to.

1 We are taking car seats, carry cots and a frame along with 1 checked bag and 2 pieces of hand luggage, will we have to check all of this at the baggage check in or can we keep some with us. The frame needs the carry cots or car seats to sit/lay the babes in
2 Can we pack items in the carry cots to supplement the baggage limit
3 How much pre-mixed formula can we take through security and how does this work
4 will we be better off making 4 bottles, we normally just carry clean bottles and pour in pre-mixed.
5 How do the baby harnesses work and any tips for having the kids on your lap for 2 hours

Plus any good advice is welcome we use a icandy travel system so the adapters for the second car-seat / cot need to be detached to fold it and we are worried if left to baggage handlers they may go missing.

Ok thanks in advance for any feedback
Jess

I have never flown with a baby that young so can' answer all of your question. I have been a nanny to twins

Looking at the Ryanair website each baby is allowed 2 bits of baby stuff checked in each.

Option 1
Baby one car seat and pushchair frame. (I would get the travel bag for your pushchair)
Baby two car seat and baby with both carrycots in Pack extra stuff in just be careful not to make it two heavy.

Put both babies in slings to board plane and after check in.

Option 2

Could you get borrow some cots for the babies to sleep in of buy a lightweight travel cot like the Littlelife one and borrow one.

Use the travel bag for the pushchair and use the seat units with extra padding ( the seat units should fit in the bag) you could then fold it and put it in the bag when you get to the gate before you que.

Slings would still make it easier as you never know when you will get the pushchair back.

The seat belt is like another little belt that threads onto yours like this
you can't move them that much but you can a bit. When I flew they said baby had to face outwards I waited until engines were on then I fed here another member of the crew was walking up and said well done that the best they to do on take off. So I would say do what ever you feel you need to do.

You can usually keep buggy till plane steps but be prepared you pick up the buggy at baggage reclaim not plane steps on arrival. I have twins and carrying them plus cabin bags through the airport to baggage reclaim is tricky I would get slings so you can be hands free to carry bags.

Never seen anyone take car seats or carry cots onto the plane have only seen these checked in but ask airline.
You won't be allowed to sit next to each other on the plane as only one baby per row is allowed.
Good luck
