Can you talk to me about Lego Land...?

Ds is 3 in Nov. I wanted to take him to Diggerland (we are in the NW but near yorkshire) but its closed! Bhooo. Legoland in manchester is near but I've never been. He's recently got into his Duplo and plays with it daily and enjoys playing with the little lego at the library....but i've no idea what to actually expect from Legoland.

I'd like to use Tesco vouchers for entry so i'm fairly limited to options.

So, whats inside? Worth it? 3 too young? I'm not sure he would appreciate sea life next door. We did an aquarium when he was 18 months....much younger i know but it was wasted. He likes animals but even at petting farms her prefers the tractors, rides and the climbing frames!

Cheers x

It's not a Legoland like the one down in Windsor it's a Lego discovery centre. I've never been but my Auntie lives near it and has been. Apparently there is a few rides and a building area which is full of kids arguing over bricks. She says it's awful Sad

At 3 your ds should enjoy it. Definitely get an offer.,don't pay full price as it's a rip off. Take your own food as that's horrid and stupidly expensive (£10 for a kids meal 'deal' of basic sarnie crisps drink and biscuit!!!). The place is full of people eating their own food.

Personally I skip the photo and the factory tour and go straight to Kingdom quest ride, mini land model village entertains ds (just 4) then we camp out in a seated area whilst he runs round the soft play. There a duplo bit, friends bit, test track bit where you can build and race cars (find a ready built one).

We always do both 4d films but often skip the Harry potter ride. If there's any building model groups on when you're there it's nice to do that together.

Then we leave via the laser maze bit which is no fun if it's busy but ds loves it. He also loves looking round the shop.

If you go expecting it to be amazing you might be disappointed. We go for a couple of hours when it's quiet. Have annual passes. If you're not stuck to school hols just do it on a weekday and your ds should enjoy it. After 3 hours I'm usually knackered and there's no way I'd want to be there all day.

How far are you from Halifax? Eureka is great fun and your ticket price will get you in all year. So much to do you'd want to come back.

You can also take tge train for added fun.
