Does anyone know if easyjet will allow a child (14) to travel domestically in UK on a passport 2 weeks expired?

Thanks

I think their answer would be no as the passport has expired.

you don't need a passport to travel domestically, surely?

I thought you just needed photographic I'd on domestic flights.

From their website. Point 13.1.2 certainly applies now given the age:-

13.1.1 The airline requires all passengers to provide photographic ID at check-in on all Flights including domestic services. Passengers who use the online check-in service will be required to provide photographic ID at the boarding gate.

13.1.2 Generally, on domestic flights only, children under 16 years of age are not required to provide photographic identification to travel if they are accompanied by an adult. If the children are between the ages of 14-15 years and are travelling unaccompanied, a form of photographic identification will be required. Please see Our child ID Requirements page for more details about specific ID requirements. For international flights see Article 13.1.3 below.

13.1.3 All International Flights
The documentary requirements for passengers on international Flights (including within the EU) are a valid passport or in some circumstances, a valid EU national identity card will be accepted provided it is supported by any other relevant documentation such as visas, where applicable. An expired passport or expired EU national identity card is not a valid form of identification on any international Flight.

Thanks. She has no photographic ID aside from passport. Looks like she'll be ok as travelling with her parents. Crisis averted. Thank you.
