Weather in Majorca in late October?

That's it really. Thinking of taking DC to C'an Picafort in Majorca for a week at October half term to an all inclusive hotel with First Choice. I know we can take wetsuits to make the pool a bit more useable but realistically this is still going to cost us a fair bit so is it just going to be too cold to be worthwhile.
Half term is 27 oct so right at the end of the season and DC range from 4 to 14.
Any thoughts on weather and whether it's worth doing gratefully received before I make an expensive mistake.

I went to Majorca for the October half term a few years ago, it was lovely. The sun was still very much shining, we spent days either by the pool or on the beach and evenings in open air restaurants. It was warm still late into the evening. We were South in Torrenova, at the same time we were there MIL was on the north coast, they were cold and it was windy, so the further south the better.

It might rain a lot as autumn is the rainy season for the Mediterranean. It goes up to 22 degrees during the day, but that is a monthly average so it would tail off at the end of the month to be nearer the November average of 17 degrees. It goes down to 12 degrees at night.

If you want warmer weather you would be better off going to the Canaries, but if you want a Med destination you might have better luck in Cyprus which will be warmer, although they tend to get rain at that time of year as well.

We always go
Mid October (Scottish school
Holidays) and the weather is very variable - sometimes scorching, often pleasant but sometimes pouring rain, grey and stormy. Restaurants are also starting to close for end of season. If you are wanting guaranteed sunshine I wouldn't risk it.

Thank you I think I might try and dissuade DH from north Majorca then. If we're going to be cold and wet we can do that here and save a couple of grand.

DH and I went to C'an Picafort one October and it was a thoroughly wet miserable week.
There is nothing to do in a beach resort in bad weather.
People will say they had good weather, it's a risk. I would head much further south to the Canaries for reliable sunshine in October..

Been to Peurto Pollenca a couple of times in October half term and both times the weather was lovely. It was far warmer during the day than I had expected. So much so that we had to buy DD some summery clothes to wear as she was too hot. She was in and out of the sea all week.

The pool at the apartment we stayed one year was too cold to use as it wasn't heated in any way, but the sea was warm.

In the evenings we needed a cardi, jumper of light jacket.

That's kind of what I figured Secret and although we could be lucky with the weather it's a lot of money to risk. No, I'm going to have to put me foot down on this one. DH thinks holidays are essential and will happily borrow to have one. I'm of the mind that if we can't pay up front then we can't afford it and having to pay back a loan for a crap holiday is not on. Don't think DC will be too deprived.
Hula, trouble is resort is in the north of the island, if it were southern I'd be happier although as a main feature of the hotel is the pool it still wouldn't be ideal if water was freezin.
