We're thinking of going just after new year before the schools go back. Is that a busy time to go, or are all school holidays busy, or is it always busy?

Also, does it make that much difference having an extra 10 minute walk back to the hotel after a days walking or is there more to the Disneyland Hotel than it's location.

Is the official site the best place to book through?

Too many choices Confused

January is the quietest time in the park so they close a lot of rides for maintenance etc. That's probably the only thing I'd be aware about.

We went at the end of March this year and the weather was fantastic and the parks fairly quiet (well, quiet for them!).
We stayed in The Sequoia Lodge, there was 5 of us and I think they do larger suites than that also.

We didn't bother with the shuttlebus as the walk was so short and also really nice around the lake and through the shops.

We booked it all through a local travel agent who managed to get us an upgrade on the Eurostar and of our room for a good price.

The meal plan is well worth getting as the food is expensive and I highly recommend the Wild West Show which you get a huge dinner with too!

NickiFury, we had a luggage deal with our booking which meant we got off the Eurostar, dumped our luggage in their office and went straight into the park while they took our bags to our rooms for us. Well worth getting!
