Hi can anyone advise if they've gone to Eurodisney (for a break) and not prepaid for (lunch:evening) meals. I'm trying to work out weather or not to book a food plan for the family.

If you didn't precook can anyone advise what they paid to eat in the evening; per adult (food and drink) and do all the restaurants charge the same??

Many Thanks

I don't think the food plan is worth it as it's a small saving and you are limited to the Disney restaurants and meals, you probably wouldn't eat that much if you were just buying meals. However, the meal plan is often offered free with holidays, so check the dlp website to see if there is an offer on.

There are menus and prices online. There are cheap places like Mcdonalds and Earl of Sandwich too. There is a big hypermarket nearby that you can buy things from too.

Hi we've booked our hotel so the food plan is an extra cost. Can you point me in the direction of the website with costs, that would be great and thankyou

Meant to add we're likely to stay on site the whole time...

We ate at McDonalds which was okay. There's a Starbucks too. Breakfast was included for us which helped & I took biscuits for the kids to eat during the day.
We also ate at the Hakuna Matata restaurant & the kids meal was big enough for an adult.

The Auchan supermarket is only a couple of tram stops. It's in a big shopping centre.

I was there a few weeks ago, we stayed on site, are at places like Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, Annette's Diner and Cafe Mickey.

Wasn't extortionate, most main courses were 15 to 20 euros, Cafe Mickey was the most expensive.

We has bed and breakfast them ate out for other meals or took rolls from breakfast for lunch.

Cafe Mickey good for meeting characters but expensive enough for food. Would recommend you go to it though & book it before you go as we couldn't get in last July when there. I'm sure you can read menus & see prices on the Disney website. I found lollies & drinks round the park a big expense. Have a good time Grin

Starbucks, McDonalds & some others are literally just outside the park. We had to walk past them to get to our hotel. There's also an amazing Lego shop on the same area.

Queues can be massive at restaurants, including macdonalds, so best to book for evening meal in advance whether doing dining plan or not

MissBeehiving · 17/07/2014 14:04

We went in June and had a food plan - we also ate breakfast at Café Mickey with the characters which is really worth doing and I can confidently say that the McD's is probably the worst in Europe Grin

I would also second booking!

There's not much saving really by having the meal plan, but they are useful for budgeting purposes.

Making reservations in advance at the restaurants you would like to eat however, is highly recommended.
