DP has a week off in August. We've just applied for DD1 passport so if it comes through in time we may look for a very last minute deal.

Can anyone recommend a good website apart from Thomas Cook (already looking there).

Thank you Smile

I'd try Thomsons. They're not the cheapest, but their service is fab and you're pretty much guaranteed a good standard of accommodation etc.

thank you. I had a look on their website but it wasn't as easy to find the last minute ones and the ones I did find were all flying from Scotland!

There's a tab at the top that's says 'departing in the next 6 weeks'. At the side you can choose which airports you'll consider as well as where you want to go/budget etc.

Do NOT use holiday gems. There is a poster on here who has had a right old time with them trying to fleece money out of her.

You could try high-end hols like Mark Warner - they usually have good lates/cancellations.

I used www.directline-holidays.co.uk/?idtel=ggl&gclid=CN-35ODNwr8CFSflwgodTAUAhg and they were really efficient.

I used Travel Republic and had no problems, this was for a city break www.travelrepublic.co.uk/

Well op, were the suggestions any good?

I'm just keeping an eye at the moment. Struggling to adjust Thomson for a family, all the lists are based on 2 sharing.

just about to look again :)

Thank you all

I would consider booking things separately, yourself. Sometimes it can result in a better deal and usually, a better standard of accommodation.
