apparently you can buy distilled water for babies from chemists over in spain? So a friend tells me. Any use?

LiliLaTigresse · 03/09/2006 22:16

I'm sorry but why would it not be OK once boiled?
or buy Evian

notsogummyanymore · 03/09/2006 22:18

some bottled waters aren't suitable for babies because of the high mineral content.

LiliLaTigresse · 03/09/2006 22:19

yes I know
Evian is suitable though

angelaj1 · 03/09/2006 22:28

can distilled water be used as is - doesn't need boiling before decanting?
Have either of you used boiled tap water in spain?

Have always used Evian when visiting family in France, even though I used boiled tap water in the UK
no problem
could have used boiled tap water in france though but couldn't be bothered

angelaj1 · 03/09/2006 22:41

thats fair enough - you were holiday to relax after all - is tap water safe to drink in france for adults?

OP posts:
LiliLaTigresse · 03/09/2006 22:42

perfectly safe
am living proof of it and so is dd
and millions of french people

angelaj1 · 03/09/2006 22:43

advice in spain I think is not to drink water straight fromt the tap which propted my initial question I suppose boiling kills most nasties anyway
