How was your holiday? I am just packing for hearing to Eurocamp near Lake Annency staying in tent. Eurocamp said the tents don't have blackout blinds- any suggestions for how we can improvise? If you buy travel blackout blinds what size should we get? Wee ones are 2 & 4 and wake at the peep of sunlight. GroClock packed! Thanks

PS do you really have to pack a breathalyser for France? got triangle and light reflectors.

Yes you need breathalysers, got ours on eBay, they aren't expensive. You also need high vis vests.

I'm not sure how you were planning to fit black out blinds to a tent but there aren't any windows in the sleeping areas anyway. Canvas will let light in so if its light outside it will be light inside. The Eurocamp tents are dark green which will help limit it but you won't get darkness after sunrise. I always find my children sleep in when camping despite the light, so perhaps try exhausting them in the day and letting them stay up late?
