Pay as you go Creches/Nurseries in Barcelona, Spain?

Wonder if anyone could help. Going with my almost 3yr old to Barcelona, Spain in a few months. I have been dying to go there for years then fell pregnant so put it off. She is now 2.5yrs and I would be taking her with me. Just somewhere to live her for a day or 2. Will be there for a week. Does anyone know if they have creches or nurseries where you can pay as you go type of thing. I will be taking her along most of the times but I want to do a proper city and museum tour whilst there without her. I would prefer this environment to individual child minders or nanny etc when in a foreign country. Thanks

You would seriously leave your toddler, who will no doubt be unsettled enough to be in a strange country, in an unknown nursery with total strangers who might not even speak English?

I seriously can't comprehend this. Either take someone familiar with you to babysit or wait until she is old enough to join in. They are only small for a short time. Look at it from her perspective and Don't be so selfish.

As @ imperial above, pls do not reply to my thread if you have nothing constructive to say. I am there a week and it will be unfair to drag her out all the time. My child goes to nursery and prefers to be with kids than a babysitter, the reason I am not using the service provided by the hotel. The holiday has her in mind as I have already mapped a few places to take her such as Zoo, beach, aquarium as she would love that!! The larger shopping centres in London have creches so is it ok then for people to dump their kids there and go shopping or for a coffee but not in Spain? The language is not an issue either.
