Taking a baby to the south of France

We're off to the south of France for 2 weeks to stay with some family. Having never taken a baby abroad before I wondered if anyone could help with a couple of questions?

Is it safe to use tap water for bottles if it's boiled and then cooled?

Are nappies and wipes ridiculously expensive in France? I read somewhere that they were so we can send some over with relatives in advance to make it cheaper.

Can you buy aptamil first milk powder in France and if so, is it the same?

Thanks xx

We found a lidl to buy nappies for DS. They were about the same price as here I think (although we usually use reusables so not totally au fait with nappy costs!.

I always used Evian water for making bottles. I think Actimel is branded as Milupa in France.

I would send as much as possible in advance.
IME (Antibes), baby things r more expensive, even in Carrefour, the local hypermarket.
