Has anyone been to this event with a little one? I have been a few times with my husband and he thinks we should go this year and take the baby too but I think it will be tricky. Has anyone been and do you have tips? I heard there was a crèche but I am guessing maybe that is for members only?

I've booked to go for my husband and we will have a 3 month old baby! I've been reading some different forums and they say a comfy pushchair so they can lie down and take naps.......there is a free public crèche too available so we are thinking of using that, you don't have to be a member!

I was hoping there was a creche. I had vaguely recalled seeing one when I have been before but we didn't gave a baby then so wasn't looking. I think we will give it a go. The place is nice to walk around even if we have built keep away from greens and tee boxes in case of disrupting players with crying!

Is it ok to walk around with pushchairs? I've never been before so was worried we'd get turned away?! I will let my husband walk up and watch when players take shots and I can walk in other areas like you say! X

I have seen people with pushchairs there before. Also people carrying babies in slings if that is an option (but sounds hard work to me for an entire day!). There are paths along the edge of holes - either gravelly or grass. I think it would be completely fine unless it rains then it will be tricky. There are proper roads around the inside of the estate so you could do them and then only a short cut though to the holes. The main area by the 18th and 1st holes has those metal tracks they put down at outdoor events so is fine so worst case you could stay in that area. The only thing maybe to be aware of with a buggy is that parking is offsite so you need to get a park and ride bus which can be busy so they may ask you to collapse it. However, there are loads of buses and people are quite polite and friendly. I was heavily pregnant last year and people were letting me get on ahead of them and always have a seat.
