They have given you a time slot because they are very, very busy and certain parts of the tour are in small areas, so they have to limit the amount of visitors there at any one time.

They don't (or at least they didn't) do anything special for a child's birthday.

You get freebies - when we went it was a couple of big blocks of Dairy Milk, a few bars, and a couple of hand-made chocolates part way round.

Don't worry about being more than three hours - chances are you won't need anywhere near that long. I took my sister when she was about 12, and we were through in less than an hour. I didn't think much of it, to be honest, and I won't bother taking dd.

I, on the other hand, love it
Wene with 2 girls friends pre -children and we had a great time! Also took a school party when I was teaching and they all semeed to enjoy it. Would guess the time slot is for tour round factory but there are playgrounds and picnic places outside that you would still be able to use I should think.

I took DD to Cadbury World when she was 8 and she loved it. It was a coach trip as I didn't fancy driving all that way there and back. Turned out to be a coach full of pensioners who made a fuss of DD and spoiled her rotten. There were loads of freebies too. As we got back on the coach to come home, she announced to everyone proudly 'I haven't eaten a single bit of protein all day'!!

Hmmm its ok, don't expect too much of it tho....playground was ok and the few freebies not bad....some of the tour a bit zzz for kids tho?

depends on age of children mine are 9 and 10
does go into the history of choc
where coco beans come from etc
and where john cadbury set up shop and how he made eating choc
my boys love history so this was great for them they are still talking about it today telling their friends
