Hi. I love eurocamp holidays but I do not want to pay £2k for a couple of weeks in a caravan!! Does anyone know of companies doing similar to eurocamp but cheaper. I tried Canvas, same prices if not more expensive than eurocamp.
Thanks in advance for any ideas Grin

If you want to go to France then try Yellohvillage.co.uk - they do the same tents, mobile homes etc as eurocamp but significantly cheaper. (Haven't tried them personally but came across site while looking). We are actually going to book through a French site which is again cheaper than euro camp. Sometimes worth googling the campsite name and looking for other companies that have accommodation at the same site.

We have used Flower Camping and they are really reasonable (mobile homes and really cool Freeflower tents on some sites. Camping indigo were lovely too but more safari tents - but their site in Forcalquier definitely had mobile homes too if that's what you're after.

Hi
Hope you don't mind op, don't want to hijack thread but have a relevant question.

We have booked directly with French campsites before, but always a pitch. This time we want to book a mobile home as we will have a new baby (about 4 months' old). I have looked on lots of sites, but can't seem to find out if supplying a travel cot for a baby is the norm, or whether we will need to take one.

We want to book the ferry asap, but whether we need to take a travel cot of not makes the difference between a roofbox on the car or not.

Has anyone been supplied with a travel cot at a French campsite before?

Any recommendations for nice sites within a couple of hours drive from St Malo much appreciated. Would love to be walking distance from the town & beach.

We've stayed here before www.campingdupoulquer.com/
Excellent location, easy walking distance from Benodet which is a fantastic town with beautiful beaches, restaurants etc. Am considering it again, but it is possibly too far for us to drive to get the return ferry crossing (complicated medical reasons why we can't do some ferry crossings).
