Went to teguise 2 yrs ago and put me iff lanzarote conpletely ! Too windy - overcast until 12.00 most days, not much to do , lots of places closed down and that was in june!

We went to lanzarote in September and stayed in a villa in Puerto Calero which is a couple of miles from PdC. I hated PdC, it was awful and I found it to be quite tacky. My sister went to Playa Blanca on her honeymoon in November and said it was fab and had loads to do. Puerto Calero is so lovely but very quiet so I wouldn't recommend it to families, but it's great for couples. We went in September and some days it went up to 39 degrees but the breeze was a good thing and cooled it off to a nice temperature.

"I would recommend Costa Teguise"

I wouldn't. It is totally devoid of any character. The main beach is very windy, there are loads of bars that show English football and sell English beer and food and most of the restaurants sell very ordinary food.

We went to Puerto del Carmen many years ago and enjoyed a fabulous holiday. It is much busier now so I think I would go to the Playa Blanca area if I went back. The island itself is worth exploring and you absolutely must go round the volcanic national park. The Cesar Manrique stuff is also worth seeing.

Late to this but we love Lanzarote and return every year.
We stay in Playa Blanca,we self cater or should say rent a villa but eat out every night very reasonably!
