Egypt at Easter. Would you recommend?

We want to get away to somewhere hot at Easter. DH fancies Sharm. I've been there before, years ago. Am wondering how safe is it? I haven't kept up with the news much recently....

Im going this Easter to Aqua Blu Sharm - waterpark and family have been before and have heard lots of good things and recommendations - it has a number of restaurants so food should be covered

I've already booked to go to sharm at easter. Leaving little ones at home with their dad and taking big ones for a week of sun, relaxation, revision (they have exams coming up) and scuba diving. We weren't really planning on leaving the resort but keeping a careful eye on FCO advice after recent attack on tourists

we are booked to go this october...the troubles not really affecting sharm. i have family that work in sharm and live in cairo and they think its fine for us to go :)
