Premier Inn - do they take 3 DC?

Am looking at Premier Inn website, in the drop down box you can stipulate no of adults / kids - but only up to 2 kids. We desperately need a holiday, and it's cheap and nice and straightforward, so it's the one for us, we know what we're getting, and no flowery curtains or tartan carpets (which I would sooo hate!)

Can we go there with DSs ages 17 months (i.e. under 2 so perhaps doesn't count Grin 4 and 6 years?

Booking more than one room isn't an option due to ages of kids, and DP and I sleeping separately - we never ever see each other so that would defeat the purpose of said jolly. Family room would be superb, as DSs all come in with us anyway and always will by the looks of things Smile

I would just book it and take own travel cot.

I like Premier Inn and Travelodge due to the anonymity of it, the fact that you know what you're getting.

And having stayed in Travel Lodge in Glasgow a couple of years ago, they didn't give a shit mind us phoning a curry and having it delivered to our room, and even raiding the kitchen for plates Grin Shock

On premier inn website you can put 2 adults 2children and a box to tick for a cot (ie an infant). I always do this and take my on travel cot, ds is 2 next week and still sleeps well in it.

I was wondering about that - did it mean a max of 2 kids, one of which is a cot baby, or did it mean an additional DC.

What happens if you have several DC?

I was able to have 3 kids in one room at the premier inn at Stepps, had to book through the phone number though and not online

you can have a room that takes 2 adults 2 kids and a child under 2 in a cot. when they get over 2 you will either have to go for 2 rooms possibly adjoining or not travelodges. there is a good website called sleeps5.com which will become your friend as kids get older. you can try and sneak them in but only if you don't want to do breakfast the next day. plus if you get found out then they will make you take 2 rooms. tbh its the biggest pain about having 3 DC's. what the rest of us do with several ie more than 2 kids is just that - not stay in travelodges, premier inns etc or now they are older get two adjoining rooms.

You'll be fine with those ages. Just book the max you can then ring the individual hotel to let them know.

SoonToBeSix · 20/09/2013 20:04

Yes we stay all the time they even let us take 4 dc one co sleeping one in their travel cot, two in beds.
Just tick two kids and also cot required.

SoonToBeSix · 20/09/2013 20:08

Also don't bother taking your own cot but do ring to confirm you need one a week before. They will even make it up for you with a sheet.

I found out recently that many of the budget hotels do interconnecting rooms, you just need to call the hotel direct. then you get a proper break with the kids sleeping next door Smile Smile
