Help needed for holiday with teens

I'm starting to think about a holiday for next summer. I'm after somewhere in Europe that's like a suite/apartment/small villa but in a resort. My DC are teens now and like to sleep in in the morning. I'm an early bird and would love a holiday where I can sit out in the sun early in the morning and not disturb the rest of the family or feel i'm waiting for them all to wake up. We have tried a couple of self catering holidays and they don't seem to work for us as we end up having every meal out and because my boys are always hungry we go way over budget. DS3 will be 14 and likes sports, organised activities and quizzes. Ds2 will be almost 16 and likes spa/gym stuff and wifi and eating. DH needs to be quite busy. I love sightseeing but for this holiday would be willing to try more of a relaxing type holiday. We tend to do activity/long haul holidays at Easter or Feb half term so would prefer to stick to Europe. Thankyou.

Mark Warner holidays would be ideal for your family I think- not cheap but provide activities for all ages and the food is really good too.

Yes thankyou. We did do a number of Mark Warners when the DS's 2 and 3 were pre school age and DS1 who is now grown up was a teen and I was actually thinking about trying one again.

All inclusive in a big resort hotel would be my recommendation as mother of two teens who eat and sleep for England.
We went here this year. There is a gym and indoor pool, plus wall to wall organised sports and games.
I crept off to have a peaceful breakfast on my own before anyone else was up.Wink.
It's a bit isolated but near a pretty good water park and beaches.

That resort looks really good, do you mind me asking what accommodation you had?

We had a superior bungalow. Some of them have a private pool. Not hugely roomy if, like me, you are used to the space of a villa or apartment, but big for hotel rooms. The reviews suggest the regular hotel rooms are not as good, but if I went again I might go for two separate rooms as my teens are 17/15. They loved it.
They used the gym a lot and spent all day playing water polo and water volleyball.

Sorry just one more question. Was your 15 year old allowed to use the gym?

I think it was supposed to be over 16s but there were never any staff at the gym.
